📋 Job Description

  • Operate regional flatbed routes hauling lumber, drywall, roofing materials, pipe, and concrete products across Florida and neighboring Southeast states
  • Perform proper load securement using straps, chains, binders, edge protectors, and tarps for building materials and construction supplies
  • Handle live loads at mills and suppliers and live unloads at job sites or lumber yards with multi-stop deliveries
  • Conduct tarping, untarping, securement checks, and site-specific unloading while managing job site delays and weather impacts
  • Navigate I-4, I-75, I-95, and Turnpike corridors with emphasis on safe flatbed operations and HOS compliance
  • Work with a hands-on dispatch team in a practical, family-oriented Central Florida operation

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

1+ year flatbed or comparable securement experience preferred (general CDL experience considered)

Age

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Clean driving record

Physical

Ability to tarp, chain, and secure loads safely with comfort for physical securement work and job site deliveries
