📋 Job Description

  • Run multi-state regional dry van routes throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and parts of North Carolina and Tennessee
  • Handle general dry van freight including retail merchandise, consumer goods, paper products, building supplies, and manufacturing components
  • Perform high percentage drop-and-hook operations (75%+) along with multi-stop deliveries
  • Navigate primary corridors including I-4, I-75, I-95, and I-10 with occasional live loads at warehouses or plants
  • Manage variable dock times, traffic congestion in Atlanta, Orlando, and Tampa metro areas, and complete required ELD logs
  • Maintain HOS compliance while working with dispatch on load planning and potential schedule adjustments during peak retail and construction seasons
