- Perform local dry van deliveries of general retail merchandise, packaged goods, paper products, and non-perishable grocery items to major retail stores and distribution points throughout the Orlando metro area and Central Florida
- Handle multi-stop routes with 4–8 deliveries per shift, including a mix of drop-and-hook at DCs and live unloads at retail stores
- Complete pre-trip inspections, securement checks, and accurate paperwork for each delivery
- Navigate I-4 and Florida Turnpike corridors plus surface streets near shopping centers while managing Orlando-area traffic and dock delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, receivers, and store personnel during live unloads
- Maintain HOS compliance via ELD while adapting to same-day dispatch changes during peak retail periods
