📋 Job Description

  • Perform local dry van deliveries of general retail merchandise, packaged goods, paper products, and non-perishable grocery items to major retail stores and distribution points throughout the Orlando metro area and Central Florida
  • Handle multi-stop routes with 4–8 deliveries per shift, including a mix of drop-and-hook at DCs and live unloads at retail stores
  • Complete pre-trip inspections, securement checks, and accurate paperwork for each delivery
  • Navigate I-4 and Florida Turnpike corridors plus surface streets near shopping centers while managing Orlando-area traffic and dock delays
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, receivers, and store personnel during live unloads
  • Maintain HOS compliance via ELD while adapting to same-day dispatch changes during peak retail periods

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

1+ year verifiable recent CDL-A experience (recent grads from approved schools considered with strong references)

Age

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Acceptable MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
