📋 Job Description

  • Haul temperature-controlled agricultural freight including fresh produce and packaged food products
  • Manage reefer unit setpoint, temperature monitoring, and cold chain integrity throughout transit
  • Complete appointment-based deliveries to distribution warehouses and grocery supply networks
  • Perform pre-trip inspections on tractors and 53' refrigerated trailers
  • Verify bills of lading and maintain accurate temperature records
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding harvest-driven schedule changes and warehouse delays
  • Handle multi-stop refrigerated deliveries with extra stop pay opportunities
  • Monitor reefer fuel levels and report equipment issues promptly

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor-trailer experience preferred
