📋 Job Description
- Move loaded and empty dry van trailers between regional warehouses, cross-docks, cold storage facilities, and overflow yards in the Fresno metropolitan area and Central Valley industrial corridors.
- Perform frequent trailer swaps, backing into dock doors, and spotting trailers for scheduled loading while maintaining appointment windows.
- Verify trailer numbers, seal integrity when applicable, and complete accurate paperwork before each movement.
- Conduct complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues immediately.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and dispatch regarding arrival, departure, and equipment status.
- Operate safely in high-traffic warehouse environments with active forklift activity and occasional seasonal produce shipping congestion on CA-99, CA-41, CA-180, and CA-168.
