📋 Job Description
- Haul automotive parts between manufacturing suppliers, cross-dock facilities, regional distribution centers, and assembly support warehouses throughout Texas and neighboring states
- Transport palletized and containerized automotive components including engine and drivetrain components, suspension assemblies, brake system parts, plastic molded components, and metal stampings in 53-foot dry van trailers
- Maintain consistent on-time performance for scheduled shipping windows and communicate promptly with dispatch regarding appointment changes or production schedule adjustments
- Perform complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, verify paperwork and bills of lading, monitor load securement, and ensure proper trailer sealing when required
- Operate within strict customer receiving windows while managing traffic conditions around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Alliance logistics corridor, and major Texas interstates
- Complete delivery documentation, report equipment issues promptly, and follow all customer site safety procedures and DOT regulations
