💼 Career Opportunities
Fort Worth serves as a major logistics hub with steady freight activity driven by retail distribution centers, food logistics operations, and manufacturing suppliers along the I-35W, I-20, and Alliance corridors. Yard Jockey experience builds specialized skills in tight-space maneuvering, trailer spotting, and high-volume yard management that are highly valued across the distribution industry. Drivers who master these operations often advance into lead hostler, yard supervisor, or shuttle driving roles. The repetitive trailer handling and dock coordination experience gained here translates well to other local and regional opportunities in the DFW market. With consistent freight volume and around-the-clock yard operations, this role offers schedule stability and reliable weekly earnings for CDL-A professionals who thrive in active warehouse environments rather than long-haul highway driving.
