📋 Job Description

  • Support automotive manufacturing and supplier distribution across the Dallas–Fort Worth industrial corridor through scheduled shuttle movements of palletized automotive parts, stamped components, assemblies, returnable racks, and production materials.
  • Make time-sensitive transfers between manufacturing facilities, supplier warehouses, sequencing centers, and regional distribution hubs to maintain just-in-time inventory for production lines.
  • Operate primarily within North Texas with occasional runs into Central Oklahoma or East Texas, navigating I-35W, I-35E, Loop 820, SH 121, SH 360, I-20, I-30, and US-287.
  • Handle shipping documentation accurately and maintain consistent arrival times to prevent impacts on manufacturing schedules.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, assist with securing freight when required, and coordinate with dock personnel at manufacturing facilities.
  • Work scheduled daytime, afternoon, or overnight shifts supporting production requirements while maintaining HOS compliance and safe operation in Metroplex traffic.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

At least 12 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience preferred
