📋 Job Description
- Operate as part of a dedicated e-commerce freight network moving loaded dry van trailers between fulfillment centers, sortation hubs, regional delivery stations, and contracted cross-dock facilities in the Fort Worth side of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Primarily handle no-touch freight with scheduled appointment times and closely monitored dispatch windows.
- Perform trailer swaps, yard moves, and relay assignments while maintaining strict adherence to appointment windows and Hours-of-Service regulations.
- Conduct trailer integrity inspections, seal verification, and electronic check-in procedures at distribution facilities.
- Navigate heavy congestion around the Alliance logistics corridor, I-35W, I-30, and Loop 820 during peak traffic periods.
- Communicate frequently with dispatch regarding gate assignments, trailer numbers, and schedule adjustments.
