📋 Job Description

  • Retrieve assigned containers at LA/Long Beach terminals and deliver to Inland Empire distribution centers completing 4-7 transactions daily.
  • Coordinate gate appointments and yard movements while managing terminal wait times along I-710 and I-10 corridors.
  • Perform chassis inspections, seal verification and landing gear checks prior to each port or warehouse move.
  • Execute drop-and-hook operations at transload facilities in Ontario, Fontana and Rialto with ELD compliance updates.
  • Return empty containers to port yards while monitoring traffic on SR-60 and I-15 for efficient routing.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on dedicated Peterbilt tractors averaging 10-13 hour shifts.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

1+ year tractor-trailer required; port/intermodal experience preferred

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Clean driving record, no major violations
