Early arrival at the San Bernardino terminal starts the day. Pre-trip inspection, dispatch review of the first fill station and customer notes, then departure for the initial water load before peak construction activity begins.
Most of the shift cycles between approved loading points and job sites. After filling, the driver moves to the assigned construction or industrial location, positions the tanker, completes hose connections and controlled discharge, obtains customer confirmation, then returns for the next load. Four to eight deliveries are common depending on distance, site access, and traffic. Dispatch may resequence stops during the day when a site is not ready or another project needs priority water.
Final delivery completed, the unit returns to the terminal. Post-trip inspection, paperwork, and equipment preparation for the following morning close the shift. Weekend coverage stays limited except during peak summer construction periods.
