Dispatch provides assignments the evening before or early morning. Drivers start with pre-trip inspection at the terminal or approved yard before heading to the first fabrication facility. Load readiness varies depending on current production status.
After forklift or crane loading, drivers inspect securement, weight distribution, and documentation. Deliveries typically reach OEM plants or supplier locations where receiving follows appointment windows. Some days feature one major move while others combine multiple shorter transfers across the network.
Once final delivery paperwork is complete, equipment returns to company-controlled yard. Dispatch may assign repositioning or next-day preparation before the shift ends. Winter conditions add time for yard movement and pre-trip checks.
