📋 Job Description
- Pre-trip tractor and trailer inspections followed by hooking to pre-loaded dry van trailers at regional distribution centers
- Run multi-stop local delivery routes serving major box stores, home improvement centers, and general merchandise warehouses throughout the Tampa Bay area
- Perform 4–10 deliveries per shift including drop-and-hook and some live unload assistance with pallet jacks at store backrooms
- Navigate daily traffic on I-4, I-75, US 19 and local Tampa roads while meeting appointment windows
- Handle detention, paperwork, seal verifications and communicate with store receivers as needed
- Return to terminal or yard daily for post-trip procedures with consistent home time each evening
