📋 Job Description

  • Operate late-model Volvo VNL sleeper tractors pulling refrigerated trailers with food products from Newark-area distribution hubs
  • Handle primarily drop & hook operations with occasional live loads/unloads at grocery DCs and food manufacturing facilities
  • Run consistent regional lanes throughout the Northeast corridor including PA, CT, MA, MD, DE, and upstate NY
  • Maintain proper temperature controls and follow food safety protocols for perishable freight
  • Complete daily electronic logs, pre/post trip inspections, and safety reports using provided ELD system
  • Work within a team environment focused on on-time delivery to major Northeast retail and grocery networks

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

1+ year verifiable CDL-A experience

Minimum 21 years old

Clean driving record, no major violations

Able to secure loads and perform routine vehicle inspections
