Job Description

  • Operate tractor-trailers on regional flatbed and mixed freight routes.
  • Secure freight properly using chains, straps, tarps, or other necessary equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
  • Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and ELD records.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delivery updates, and any issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies and federal/state regulations.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL Class A license required

Experience

Minimum 1+ year of flatbed or mixed-load driving experience typically required

Age Requirement

Must meet minimum age requirements to hold CDL-A

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record preferred, safety-focused mindset

Physical Ability

Able to lift, secure loads, and perform pre-trip inspections
