📋 Job Description

  • Operate Volvo VNL 860 tractors pulling 53' dry vans on dedicated automotive lanes completing 350–650 miles daily.
  • Perform drop-and-hook operations at Tier-1 supplier facilities and Southeast assembly plants while updating Samsara ELD.
  • Execute timely deliveries between Jacksonville manufacturing hubs and Atlanta, Nashville, Greensboro, and Birmingham plants.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections, seal verification, and landing gear checks to maintain strict production schedule compliance.
  • Coordinate with dispatch on load assignments and monitor driver-facing safety systems during regional runs.
  • Complete 1–4 deliveries per cycle while managing dock appointments and freight integrity for engine and transmission components.
