- Follow dispatch-planned routes primarily via I-5 through the Central Valley into Oregon and Washington, with occasional routing via I-15 or I-84
- Complete pre-cooling inspections, temperature documentation, and seal verification for agricultural loads while maintaining strict delivery windows
- Communicate regularly with fleet managers regarding weather through mountain corridors, harvest conditions, and appointment adjustments
- Average 2,700–3,100 paid miles per week with proactive backhaul coordination to limit deadhead miles
