📋 Job Description

  • Operate late-model Freightliner Cascadia sleeper trucks from the Newark distribution corridor on national retail and manufacturing freight
  • Run established freight lanes primarily between Northeast e-commerce hubs and Midwest/Southeast DCs with high drop-and-hook efficiency
  • Handle mostly no-touch freight with occasional live loads at major warehouse networks
  • Work with consistent freight volume moving from Newark area to Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, then reloads in Georgia, Tennessee, Carolinas, and Florida
  • Maintain accurate logs, perform pre/post trip inspections, and follow all safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch while maximizing productive miles on each cycle

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

12+ months OTR experience preferred

Age

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Clean driving record, no major violations

Physical

Able to climb in/out of truck and secure occasional loads
