Job Description

  • Operate tractor-trailers safely on long-haul national routes
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate logs and comply with hours-of-service regulations using ELD systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight for high-profile customers such as USPS and Walmart
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or operational concerns
  • Follow all FMCSA and company safety guidelines to protect cargo, equipment, and team members

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required for OTR operations

Experience

Minimum experience required for long-haul OTR driving

Age Requirement

Must meet minimum age requirements to operate commercial vehicles

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT medical and background checks

Physical Ability

Ability to safely handle freight and operate tractor-trailers for long periods
