Job Description
- Safely deliver tanker loads to customers within local area
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tanker vehicle
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain ELD logs
- Follow DOT and company safety regulations for hazardous materials
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or delivery issues
- Maintain professionalism and safety at all times on the job
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license required; Tanker endorsement preferred (training may be provided)
Experience
Previous tanker driving experience preferred but not mandatory
Age Requirement
Must meet minimum legal age for commercial drivers in Louisiana
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record and DOT medical card required
Physical Ability
Ability to perform routine inspections and handle loading/unloading as needed
