Job Description

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes
  • Perform drop-and-hook deliveries, minimizing manual handling of freight
  • Pick up preloaded trailers at various terminals or distribution centers
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs and mileage records
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or operational issues

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred

Age Requirement

21 years or older

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record with no major violations

Physical Ability

Able to perform inspections and handle occasional light freight

Communication

Strong skills to coordinate with dispatch and terminal staff
