Job Description

  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck safely on local HazMat routes
  • Deliver hazardous materials to oilfields, industrial, and commercial sites
  • Follow strict safety protocols, USDA rules, and DOT regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and load safety
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, delivery records, and HazMat documentation
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or safety concerns

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license with HazMat endorsement

Experience

Prior driving experience preferred; safety-focused

Age Requirement

21+ years old

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record with no major violations

Physical Ability

Ability to safely load/unload and handle hazardous freight

Communication

Strong communication skills with dispatch and customers
