Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractors with refrigerated trailers on long-haul OTR routes.
- Maintain proper temperature standards for perishable and frozen freight.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Track mileage, deliveries, and performance metrics accurately for pay purposes.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or freight issues.
- Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and proper cargo securement procedures.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license with a clean driving record
Experience
Proven experience hauling refrigerated or temperature-controlled freight
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years old
MVR & Risk
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), safety-conscious
Physical Ability
Ability to handle pre/post-trip inspections and load securement
