Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractors hauling dry van freight across long-haul national routes.
- Deliver freight on schedule while following DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle and cargo safety.
- Track mileage, loads, and performance metrics for accurate pay.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or delivery issues.
- Follow company procedures for cargo securement and safe handling.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license with a clean driving record
Experience
Experience with OTR dry van hauling preferred
