Job Description
- Safely operate Class A day cab tractors for local deliveries.
- Pick up and deliver freight efficiently while adhering to schedules and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Track deliveries, mileage, and activity for payroll accuracy.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route adjustments or delivery updates.
- Handle freight safely and professionally, including light to moderate loading/unloading as needed.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license with clean driving record.
Experience
Local delivery experience preferred but not required.
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years old.
MVR & Risk
Clean driving history and compliance with DOT regulations.
Physical Ability
Ability to safely handle light to moderate freight loads.
Communication
Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatch.
