We're looking for experienced CDL-A drivers for our dedicated retail distribution runs out of the Joliet warehouse network. You'll be moving dry van loads of consumer goods and retail inventory between distribution centers and stores in the Chicago area and nearby Midwest spots.

This is a local position with daily home time. Most days you'll run day cab tractors pulling 53' dry vans on scheduled routes. Expect warehouse appointments, traffic around the metro, and steady work without overnights.

Runs stay mostly within Illinois, with some trips into Indiana and Wisconsin using I-55, I-80, I-90 and I-294.

Why Drivers Choose This Account

  • Consistent hourly pay with overtime that gets you $1,350 to $1,600 most weeks
  • Home every day - no sleeping in the truck
  • Mostly day cab equipment for local runs
  • Predictable warehouse schedules and retail distribution lanes
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus paid out after milestones

Position Highlights

  • Daily home time with Monday-Friday schedule and occasional weekend work during peak retail seasons
  • Palletized dry van freight - warehouse teams handle most loading/unloading
  • Appointment-based deliveries to reduce downtime at docks

  • 24/7 dispatch support for traffic or appointment changes

Schedule & Dispatch

Typical schedule runs Monday through Friday with early morning starts. Days run 10-12 hours depending on volume and traffic. You'll return to the Joliet terminal or yard at the end of each shift.
