Job Description

  • Operate commercial tractor-trailers for short-haul deliveries within the Phoenix area and nearby regions.
  • Handle drop-and-hook operations to minimize manual freight handling.
  • Perform occasional live unloads when required.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs and DOT-compliant records.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, schedule updates, and any issues.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL Class A license required

Experience

0–6 months solo driving experience acceptable, ideal for entry-level drivers

Age Requirement

Minimum 21 years old

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record preferred, compliant with DOT regulations

Physical Ability

Ability to perform occasional light unloading; minimal physical freight handling
