Job Description
- Operate refrigerated tractor-trailers safely on regional routes.
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled freight to ensure product quality.
- Secure loads properly and follow chain-of-responsibility regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and reefer equipment.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delivery schedules, or issues.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL Class A license required.
Experience
Experience with temperature-sensitive freight preferred.
Age Requirement
Minimum age 21 years old.
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record; compliance with DOT regulations.
Physical Ability
Capable of safely securing and handling freight.
Communication
Good communication skills and reliability on regional routes.
