Job Description

  • Independently operate a tractor-trailer, managing routes and deliveries according to contract agreements.
  • Schedule dispatch and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries efficiently.
  • Handle all freight-related documentation, including compliance, shipping, and customs forms.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and expenses for contract and tax purposes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Communicate professionally with shippers, brokers, and dispatch as needed.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL Class A license required.

Experience

Prior owner-operator or independent driving experience preferred.

Age Requirement

Minimum age 21 years.

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record with knowledge of DOT regulations.

Physical Ability

Ability to safely operate and maintain tractor-trailer equipment.
