Job Description
- Operate tanker tractor-trailers safely for local deliveries of fuel, oil, and other liquid products.
- Secure, transport, and handle liquids in compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate logs, ELD records, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and delivery locations regarding schedules or issues.
- Follow all company and DOT safety standards for tanker operations.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL Class A license required; tanker endorsement preferred or willing to obtain.
Experience
Previous tanker or liquid freight experience preferred.
Age Requirement
Must meet federal and state CDL age requirements (21+ for interstate).
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record with adherence to DOT regulations.
Physical Ability
Capable of performing loading/unloading tasks and pre-trip inspections.
Communication
