Job Description
- Operate tractor-trailers with self-loading vacuum pneumatic trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transport food-grade bulk commodities while adhering to DOT safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs and ELD records in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and receiving facilities regarding schedules and deliveries.
- Follow company policies and safety standards for handling food-grade freight.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL Class A license required.
Experience
Experience with regional or OTR freight preferred but motivated drivers considered.
Age Requirement
Meet federal and state minimum age requirements for CDL drivers.
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record and professional work ethic.
Physical Ability
Ability to operate vacuum pneumatic trailers safely.
