📋 Job Description

  • Complete 6–12 container moves daily between Atlanta rail yards and regional distribution centers.
  • Perform chassis inspections, seal verification, and landing gear checks at terminals.
  • Coordinate with Norfolk Southern Inman Yard and CSX personnel for timely container retrieval.
  • Execute drop-and-hook operations while updating YMS and ELD records throughout shifts.
  • Navigate 100–250 miles per day across South Atlanta logistics corridors and I-285.
  • Secure loaded and empty containers for retail, consumer goods, and industrial freight customers.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

1+ year tractor-trailer experience required; container/chassis experience preferred

Age

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Clean driving record, no major violations in past 3 years

Physical

Ability to climb, couple/uncouple containers, and perform chassis inspections

Endorsements

TWIC card preferred; no hazmat or tanker required
