📋 Job Description

  • Haul temperature-controlled grocery freight from Denver area distribution centers to retail and warehouse facilities throughout the Rocky Mountain region
  • Monitor reefer unit temperature throughout each trip and maintain proper cold chain documentation
  • Perform reefer pre-trip inspections and verify seal numbers and bills of lading
  • Communicate weather-related delays and mountain driving conditions to dispatch
  • Follow food safety procedures and temperature-sensitive shipment protocols during deliveries
  • Handle occasional pallet repositioning and use pallet jacks at select customer locations
  • Navigate I-25, I-70, I-76, I-80, and US-285 corridors while managing winter chain requirements and elevation changes
