📋 Job Description

  • Haul dimensional lumber, engineered wood, drywall, roofing materials, steel framing, rebar, and other construction supplies on flatbed and step deck trailers throughout Colorado's Front Range.
  • Perform load securement using chains, straps, binders, edge protection, and tarping when required for building materials and structural products.
  • Complete securement inspections and checks throughout trips in compliance with FMCSA cargo securement regulations.
  • Make deliveries to commercial construction sites, lumber distributors, roofing suppliers, and contractor yards with assistance on safe unloading when needed.
  • Navigate I-25, I-70, US-36 and regional highways while managing mountain grades, weather conditions, and construction traffic.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and site personnel for early morning appointments and changing delivery schedules.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

12+ months recent CDL-A experience; 6+ months flatbed preferred

Age

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Acceptable MVR and PSP history

Physical

Able to climb onto trailers, secure loads, and work outdoors in varying weather

Endorsements

Current DOT Medical Certificate required
