- Haul open-deck construction materials, fabricated steel, and oversized building products across western states.
- Perform proper load securement using chains, straps, and binders for flatbed freight.
- Apply tarps when required for weather protection of materials.
- Navigate mountain terrain, elevation changes, and winter conditions on I-70, I-25, I-80, and I-15 corridors.
- Complete pre-trip inspections, securement checks, and maintain load documentation.
- Manage variable loading schedules at manufacturing facilities, yards, and distribution locations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding appointments, delays, and delivery status.
- Operate safely through construction zones and chain-control areas as needed.
