💼 Career Opportunities

This yard-based CDL-A role in Lexington is often used as a long-term entry point into more structured freight operations inside regional distribution networks. Drivers who perform well in tight-space maneuvering and dock coordination can transition into dedicated regional lanes or specialized freight handling roles such as refrigerated trailer sequencing or hazardous material yard staging support. Over time, many yard spotters move into trainer positions, where they teach new hires how to manage high-density trailer environments without disrupting dock schedules. Because this facility is tied to high-volume retail and grocery flows, internal promotion paths are relatively active, especially for drivers who demonstrate consistency during peak freight cycles. Some employees also transition into over-the-road or regional CDL roles covering broader Midwest corridors, including freight connections toward larger I-75, I-64, and extended I-40 network distribution hubs.
