- Completes pre-trip, checks ELD status, then hooks a preloaded or live-loaded trailer.
- Drives the planned highway legs and arrives inside the scheduled windows.
- Checks in at gate or receiving, waits for door or staging, finishes BOL/POD and seal work.
- Accepts a reload from another DC or repositions empty when no backhaul is available.
- Parks at the home terminal or an established corridor stop based on remaining hours.
- Returns for the scheduled weekly home reset after one or two nights out.
