Each week starts with dispatch sending load assignments. Drivers inspect the assigned tractor and trailer, verify paperwork and seals, then proceed to the first pickup at a San Diego-area warehouse or supplier.
Transit segments on major interstates mix with dock time at distribution centers or manufacturing sites. Drivers update dispatch on arrival, during any delays, and once paperwork is signed so the next move can be confirmed quickly.
Later in the week, emphasis shifts toward finding productive backhauls from the Inland Empire. Nights may be spent at approved yards or truck stops before the cycle brings equipment back toward San Diego.
