- Secure steel coils, machinery and construction loads using tarps, chains and binders while completing pre-trip inspections.
- Navigate weight and dimensional permit routes with careful route planning and ELD compliance on 400–650 mile daily segments.
- Coordinate with dispatch for pre-assigned industrial deliveries and backhauls through major hubs including Dallas, Phoenix and Denver.
- Perform ongoing load securement checks, tarp adjustments and post-trip reporting during multi-day runs.
- Manage 34-hour resets and sleeper cab rest periods while maintaining strict safety and hours-of-service compliance.
