Job Description
- Operate tractor-trailers to transport expedited freight on assigned local and regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight with frequent stops along the route
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and ELD records
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery progress, delays, or issues
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL Class A license required
Experience
Experience with expedited freight preferred but not required
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years old to operate interstate
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record in compliance with DOT regulations
Physical Ability
Ability to safely handle freight and operate tractor-trailers
