📋 Job Description

  • Secure flatbed loads of lumber and roofing materials using chains straps and tarps at supply yards.
  • Complete 2-4 deliveries per shift to residential and commercial construction sites across Metro Atlanta.
  • Inspect and verify cargo securement before departure while updating ELD logs and performing pre-trip checks.
  • Navigate yard congestion and coordinate dock assignments with warehouse teams during peak loading waves.
  • Deliver steel products and concrete forms within 200 miles of Atlanta averaging 1,200–1,800 miles weekly.
  • Conduct post-trip inspections and communicate load status with dispatch after each site delivery.

Valid CDL-A license required

Flatbed experience preferred, cargo securement knowledge required

Clean driving record, no major violations

Able to tarp loads, secure freight, and perform coupling/uncoupling on flatbed trailers
