📋 Job Description

  • Pick up sealed containers at Fresno rail ramps within scheduled appointment windows, verify seals before departure, occasional gate congestion delays during peak import cycles.
  • Perform DOT inspections at yard exit points, document chassis condition, and report interchange discrepancies before leaving rail facilities.
  • Maintain continuous ELD logs during Fresno–Oakland or Fresno–Los Angeles corridors with mandatory HOS compliance at scale stops.
  • Secure chassis-mounted containers during pre-trip checks, adjust locking pins, and confirm weight distribution at transload yards.
