📋 Job Description

  • Drivers complete 3–6 container turns daily moving loaded and empty units between JAXPORT terminals and Northeast Florida warehouses.
  • Coordinate terminal appointments while performing chassis inspections and seal verification at Blount Island and Talleyrand.
  • Execute drop-and-hook operations at Westside distribution centers and Baldwin logistics parks.
  • Update ELD records and communicate dock assignments during peak yard congestion periods.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on day cab tractors and container chassis equipment.
  • Navigate 150–300 daily miles primarily within a 100-mile radius of Jacksonville.

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Minimum 12 months tractor-trailer experience; port/intermodal preferred

Clean driving record, no major violations
