Routes begin early at the Northern New Jersey distribution facility. Drivers arrive between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM to review manifests, check product temperatures, perform pre-trip inspections and verify load sequences before departure.
Daily routes typically include 8–15 live deliveries. Manhattan stops often involve tighter access and longer service times, while outer borough and suburban deliveries balance driving distance with customer volume. Dispatch prepares the initial order but adjustments are routine due to traffic and receiving conditions.
At the end of the route, drivers return empty pallets and equipment, complete paperwork and post-trip inspections, then park at the company terminal. Equipment is reloaded from the same facility for the next shift.
