📋 Job Description

  • Transport steel coils and industrial freight from Detroit manufacturing zones to Midwest job sites
  • Secure loads using chains, binders, and straps in compliance with DOT flatbed standards
  • Operate through high-traffic freight corridors including I-75, I-94, and US-23
  • Deliver machinery and construction materials to steel yards, fabrication plants, and infrastructure sites
  • Handle tarping operations for weather protection across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana routes
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in mixed-condition fleet equipment

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

1+ year flatbed preferred

Clean driving record, no major violations
