A normal workday begins at the Cleveland-area terminal with a pre-trip inspection between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Drivers review dispatch assignments planned around supplier production schedules and plant receiving windows, then pick up their first loaded trailer.
Most shifts involve a combination of supplier pickups, scheduled plant deliveries, empty trailer returns, and repositioning moves. Dispatch adjusts loads throughout the day based on production changes, trailer availability, and customer priorities while drivers complete paperwork and verify appointments at each facility.
Drivers return to the Cleveland terminal at the end of the shift to complete post-trip inspections, paperwork, and prepare equipment for the next day. Weekly schedules follow Monday–Friday operations with occasional adjustments when manufacturing demand requires it.
