- Perform drop-and-hook operations at staging yards while coordinating dock assignments with warehouse teams.
- Execute seal verification, landing gear checks, and pre-trip inspections on Volvo VNR day cabs and 53’ dry vans.
- Update ELD logs and Yard Management System entries after each facility stop along the industrial belt.
- Navigate time-sensitive just-in-time freight movements averaging 150–260 miles per shift.
- Communicate with dispatch for real-time adjustments due to manufacturing schedule changes.
