  • Run consistent tractor-trailer routes through Midwest freight corridors, adapting to live traffic on I-70, I-35, and I-29.
  • Handle live unload delays at retail DCs and manufacturing yards where appointment timing can shift unexpectedly.
  • Coordinate daily dispatch updates through ELD systems, keeping routing aligned with freight demand changes.
  • Maintain strict temperature control for reefer loads to protect food supply chain integrity across regional hubs.
  • Navigate weather impacts across Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa where seasonal storms often affect delivery timing.
  • Track detention time, mileage logs, and delivery confirmations to ensure accurate pay and compliance reporting.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

6–12 months preferred, regional exposure a plus
