📊 Local Market Insights

Los Angeles and the Inland Empire sit along major freight corridors including I-5, I-10, and I-15, connecting ports to inland distribution centers. Most container freight moves from the Port of LA and Long Beach into warehouse hubs in areas like Ontario and Fontana. High trailer turnover inside these facilities requires constant yard movement and dock coordination. Warehouse operations run nearly 24/7, creating steady demand for switcher drivers to keep freight flowing between inbound and outbound lanes.

Yard jockey CDL-A driver jobs in Los Angeles are centered around large-scale distribution centers where freight never really stops moving. This position focuses on local yard operations—no road driving, just controlled trailer movement inside busy warehouse environments.
