📋 Job Description

  • Run consistent Southeast lanes with pre-planned dispatch between major hubs like Atlanta, Charlotte, and Richmond
  • Handle dry van freight moving through high-volume distribution centers across the I-85 and I-40 corridors
  • Perform drop & hook operations at retail and manufacturing warehouses with minimal downtime
  • Maintain communication with dispatch while adjusting to traffic flow around metro congestion zones
  • Secure loads during yard checks and occasional dock assistance when required
  • Complete electronic logs and manage route compliance through onboard ELD systems

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

2+ years preferred, regional driving experience a plus

Minimum 21 years old

MVR

Clean driving record, no major violations

Physical

Occasional dock checks and basic load verification
